Pick up and drop off at your hotel/Sapa bus station
Day 1: Sapa – Y Linh Ho – Lao Chai – Black Hmong Homestay
Begin your adventure at 9:00 AM with a pickup from your hotel in Sapa, heading to the serene village of Y Linh Ho, home to the vibrant Hmong minority. Take in the breathtaking sights of century-old rice terraces that cascade down the mountainsides, a testament to the ingenuity of local farmers.
Enjoy a delightful lunch in Lao Chai, a charming village rich in Hmong heritage, before continuing your trek to your overnight homestay. Here, a warm Black Hmong family will welcome you into their home, where you’ll enjoy a delicious dinner and an authentic cultural experience. Spend the night surrounded by the peaceful beauty of Sapa’s rural charm.
Day 2: Lao Chai – Ta Van – Giang Ta Chai – Ban Ho
Wake up to a stunning view of rice terraces, followed by a hearty breakfast at 8:00 AM. Begin your trek to Ta Van village, where you’ll meet the Giay minority community. Nestled along the Muong Hoa River, the Giay people have a fascinating history of fishing and rice farming, which you’ll observe as you explore the village.
Next, venture through a bamboo forest leading to the majestic Giang Ta Chai waterfall. Afterward, continue your journey to Ban Ho village, where the Tay minority will host you for the night. Indulge in a traditional dinner and enjoy another tranquil evening in a cozy homestay.
Day 3: Ban Ho – Nam Toong – Thanh Phu – Sin Chai
Kick off your third day with a nourishing breakfast at 8:00 AM before trekking to Nam Toong, a small Red Dzao village with around 30 families. Immerse yourself in the unique traditions and lifestyle of the Red Dzao minority, gaining insight into their vibrant culture.
From there, head to Thanh Phu village, home to the Tay minority group, where you’ll enjoy a delicious lunch surrounded by the beauty of the countryside. In the afternoon, trek to Sin Chai, another picturesque Red Dzao village with breathtaking panoramic views. Spend the evening at a cozy homestay, sharing a traditional dinner with your hosts and soaking in the peaceful atmosphere of this remote community.
Day 4: Sin Chai – Nam Nhiu – Nam Than – Nam Cang – Sapa
Your final day begins with breakfast at 8:00 AM before trekking toward Nam Nhiu, where you’ll experience the vibrant culture of the Red Dzao people. Continue to Nam Than, a White Hmong village, for a delicious lunch featuring local flavors.
After lunch, take a leisurely walk down to Nam Cang, where your car will be waiting to take you back to Sapa. Arrive in Sapa around 4:00 PM, concluding your unforgettable 4-day trekking adventure through the stunning landscapes and rich cultures of northern Vietnam.
